We were joined by Jack Brewer, former NFL defensive back and current CEO for The Brewer Group. Jack & I are both small business owners and we had an opportunity to share our optimism for the future for the country. The election and its results have highlighted the division and negativity that has been growing within this country over the last 8 years. However, as Jack and the rest of the panel pointed out, I believe pro-growth changes will give people hope and ultimately bring everyone together.

The last 8 years have created too many barriers for the working class in the form of rules and regulations. I see it every day with Rosecliff Ventures, where we get the chance to work with founders who are tirelessly working to grow and expand their businesses. For example, Jack brings up Dodd-Frank, which for the last 6 years, has been doing everything it can to hold back small businesses and startups. This has had a direct effect on job creation as well as innovation in America. We need to get excited for the future where company growth will not be held back by over-regulation.

It will be a challenge to mend the divide and negativity in our nation but one that we will meet head on. This process will be easier when we have an economy that is being driven by growth. New opportunities will arise for all of us in the near future and it is these opportunities that will drive personal growth, and with that, happiness, economic growth, and cohesiveness.
